Sketches from Berlin

A few months ago I went to Berlin on an animation internship at Animas Film. A big thank you to them for having me and teaching me to cook as well as animate!

Anyway… I thought I’d finally compile some of my sketchbook stuff from my time in Berlin. I’d gotten a bit rusty drawing so wanted to re-polish my skills whilst there. I’ve noticed a big difference since starting so that’s awesome! I’ve been working mostly in pencil so I could focus purely on form… which was what I felt needed the most work. This stuff is from museums, people I met, zoos, buildings I saw and other random bits and pieces.

If you’d like to read a bit more about my Berlin trip I’ve already written loads in the blog I kept over there at frogsinberlin.blogspot.co.uk… check it out! I’ll be releasing some of the 3D work I did for the promos at Animas at a later date. BUT…. since you’ve bothered to read this far you can have the password to my showreel and view short clips of some of it in there (pssst….. password is ‘david2012′)!
