Sketchclub Week 2

These are the sketches I did this week in our lifedrawing club at iAnimate. Last week was my first time there and the feedback I got was that I was trying to draw too much in the short 30 / 60 / 120 / 300 second time constraints. We spend the most time on 30 – 60 second drawings, so by the time we get to 5 minutes it feels like ages! 5 minutes was the shortest pose at my previous life drawing class and already the drawings I’m doing here in 5mins are a lot better than they were there! This week I tried to scale back the detail and use the line of action and general shapes to get what I needed. It’s quite a challenge and you can really see me struggling in the 30 second drawings, but I feel like it is helping a lot. As always, I’d appreciate any help and feedback you can give me!
